Be prepared to walk. Negotiate a few rounds but have a top dollar amount in mind. After they come back a 3rd time too high, walk out. One of 2 things will happen. When you walk theyll ask you your final price or the sales manager will call you the next day.

Negotiate a 60 day bumper to bumper warranty, they may "miss" something on their pdi.

Take it for a test drive.

All of the suggestions immediately above are excellent! It's almost impossible to get a good deal on a used motorhome (or a new one) from a dealer if you close the deal in one or even two visits. The dealer is NOT going to let an interested buyer go just because the buyer doesn't like the asking price. Negotiating price is what dealers do.

It's a game of wits and most successful dealers are not only very good at it - they also enjoy it. The better you are at convincing them you are interested in a "fair" (to you) deal that you can afford, but may walk away for good if you don't get one, the better deal you will get. It's also a good idea to get your financing in line, at the best interest rate, before you close the deal. Then let them know you'll be happy to finance with their lender if they meet or beat the loan terms you've found.

There is a Camelot Scepter posted on Kijiji.
It is listed in Cranbrook but is in Yuma for the winter.

It is quad slide, tag, has all service records, Aquahot, and is
very well looked after. He is the second owner and had everything
fixed under warranty. It has 41K on it and tires are fairly new.

We looked at it but do not want to have two MH's.

He was asking 160K but is down to 157K.

It has a lot of extras also.

He is coming back to BC at the end of March.
