Holiday Rambler Chassis Type

Hey gang...we've got a '01 HR Endeavor 38' WDS.

The owners brochurs indicates its a Roadmaster Raised rail system that has 8 air bags.

So my question is what chassis is this? I've seen the RR8R I've seen others as well on the Roadmaster website; however you can't tell by the year model which chassis we have.

Any tips you might have in figuring this out would be great.

Not really familiar with an 01, but it sounds like you have the RR8R. Look under a wheel well and if you see two air bags, one in front and one behind the wheel, it is an RR8R. The 8 stands for 8 air bags, 2 per wheel position.

HR Endeavor Chassis are raise rail Roadmaster 8 bag since 2000, I know the 99 Endeavor had a freightliner 4 bag but the two other higher end coaches had the semonacot (spell?) 8 bag Roadmaster. I think Monaco bought HR in 98.

We have the same rig and mine is a Roadmaster RR8R. I just got mine in February and love it..

BTW if you look under it you can see 8 shocks... Yikes I want to change my shocks to Koni's but I would have to buy 8 of them and that's a big hunk of change...
