I have found a Cummins service center in Northern IN that will purchase, install, and program the ECM to operate the fan for about the same price it was going to cost me just to buy the Horton fan clutch kit. If I decide to go ahead with this install that is the route I am going to pursue. The downside to these fans clutches are that when your fan is not running you don't have much air cooling the CAC. sonnyj.....See if the Source Engineering engine fan will fit your engine. They're a sponsor on here. The Source fan replaces your airplane size fan with one that is more efficient and much quieter. The advantage of it over the Horton is that the Horton comes on when it's hot, like pulling grades and doesn't save you any mpg or increase your HP.

On my coach I picked up 25 HP with the fan (can be felt in the seat of your pants) and I get .5 mpg increase. I think on your coach, it's closer to a 40 HP increase because your engine spins faster than mine. The cooling is identical to the stock fan. I pulled the Baker grade into Vegas last week in 90 degree weather towing 7500 lbs. I stayed at 186-190 until I reached close to the top and put my foot in it a little (went from 60 -65) and I topped the grade at 199 degrees.

Like Don said HUGE difference in sound level, and when climbing grades using lower gears the RPM keeps the fan turning fast. deSanford Source Fan: http://redlandstruckservice.com/pdf/RTS%20Fan.pdf
