Beat me to it Dennis.

You may have to use a wet rage to clean the dust off but the camera is an excellent tool to help with inspections. You may find it helpful to do it at night using the flash.

Help...
I don't see any 'latches' on the engine cover of our 2011 Diplomat 34dft :(

Do I just pull up on it ?
don't want to damage the seal as that floor gets warm enough

it will allow you to download the engine data which includes the ESN (engine Serial Number) among other things...
Right. That's why I was looking for the engine serial number

It is a game changer for sure. Once I put my ESN in there the wealth of info was pretty impressive

yeppers, got my esn from Monaco, why I'm STILL asking how to open the hatch since I've not seen the engine other than peeking around radiator to tell it's RED in color

JohnBoyToo, While I have a 2013 43 DFT, it appears that the floor plan with the 2011 wasn't much different. The engine cover you see should just lift out. There is an insulated cover underneath that is screwed to the frame. If you need access to more of the engine than provided by that hatch, there is a second cover in the closet. You may have to use a magnet to find the screws, but they should be there buried in the carpet. Hopefully, you won't have to dismantle the closet door frame to remove the closet hatch due to some dubious engineering work on that aspect of the design of the rear bath.

Glad it's not just me :-) . It is driving me nuts that I can't see all my engine. I mean I can see a lot of it, but I want to see all of it LOL
