Our '06 Endeavor with 400 ISL does not have a petcock on the radiator. Before I start pulling hoses and regretting choice later does anyone have any wisdom on which hose or hoses to pull. I am approaching 2 years on factory coolant and want to drain, flush and replace with ELS coolant.

Relook at that radiator, a lot of them no longer have the petcock as we knew them so many years ago. They have plastic nut or plug or some other such on the bottom inside of the radiator, usually there is also a hole in the body so to speak below where that drain is located.

Sixpack98,
Mark, I'm curious. Is 2 years a service item when its recommended to change the coolant or are you just getting ahead of the curve.
I will go out and look at my manual but has me wondering if I should be flushing mine also.

Letsgoagain,
I am considering converting to one the ES Compleat formulations per the Cummins procedure and it calls for draining a gallon or so of the existing coolant. Also, there may be some benefit to adding a filter which can meter SCA into the coolant. Really kinda running out of things to do on the MH during the winter.

So, that is why I'm looking for the best way to drain coolant. I thought the interval was 2 years but not really sure.
