The front axle takes about 18 oz each, should be about the same for the tag but you just fill a little less than half way or just below the weep hole.

There should be a full line in the window of the hub. Do not overfill or oil will be forced around the plug and make a big mess as you drive.

Are you changing oil, or adding oil because it`s low? If you`re changing oil, you will need to keep an eye on the level, because after driving awhile, it will probably be low -- I installed oilers on the front hubs, & change both tag, & front each year -- I use Lucas Hub Oil & it takes about a quart for the change -- There is a full line on the sight glass(plastic) & check the air vent (a very small hole) in the middle of the rubber stopper -- Often times this gets pluged -- Good Luck -- Bill Willard

This is for the tag axle
I siphoned out old oil, 0.8 quarts from each side (1.6 qts total)
I am not sure if i was able to siphon out all the oil
I will be adding 75W-90 synthetic gear oil (same as the differential oil)
I will make sure to keep it below the FULL mark

caymann -- This is an argument I`ve read, & NOT, getting into -- When you use gear oil in the hubs, & the coach sits for a time, the oil will drain from the bearings, leaving the upper 2/3rds of the bearings dry, & they may rust -- Lucas Hub Oil is more "honey" like, & it sticks to the bearings much longer -- Again, not my argument -- Bill Willard

Yes you can it wont hurt anything, Call Lucas in Calif they will be glad to talk to you.
I have heard that about the bearings rusting and if that was so then we would all have crank shaft's with rod bearings rusting and seizing to the crank shaft.
