How to access electric reel hose 07 endeavor

Need to replace water hose anybody know the best way to access it?

PITA to get the cover off of the wet bay. Easy fix is to pull the old hose out until near the end, cut off the old hose and splice on a new hose.

If you are not comfortable with a splice, be aware that the old hose is attached to the reel with a plastic splice.
