Here's my class A towing episode:

It was the Mass. Turnpike on a early Friday afternoon in November. I was driving from Providence, RI to Lake Placid, NY on college visits with son #2. Blew a serpentine belt near Springfield, MA.

Tow driver knew a Workhorse chassis place, they had the belt, and we were back on the road by 5pm. Mass. Turnpike also send a separate truck to drive the family to the repair location.

I explained to my son that repairs DO NOT normally happen that fast and we could have been stuck in MA until Monday if the part was not in stock.

A lot of MH's are 12'6" to 13'6", and with the trailer having a height of 37", it makes your MH too high to be transported that way. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I don't believe I said that was the exact same model only that is was similar to the one actually used by Steps Towing in Tampa for carrying Class A Motorhomes. I know this can and has been done because that is how they got my burned out Vectra to the salvage yard. I have a photo of them unloading it but it was taken at 1 AM on a dark night and you can barely make out the trailer under the coach.
