Howdy! For those that have struggled with broken or bent bolts and/or wallowed holes on tubes and gear pack shafts on the heavy flush floor left front slide on Camelots and Scepters, I thought I’d post a 6 month follow up on double sleeve/two bolt mod I posted.

After a couple dozen cycles in and out, all is well!

It’s imperative that after every few cycles in and out you re-torque these bolts/nuts to the prescribed 14 foot lbs until the square shafts have finished deforming inward and are seated solidly on the shafts. After that check them at another 5 cycles and then 10 cycles before you call it good.
