Hyd. Levelers

I have a 2005 Windsor with a firestone air bags and levelers on it, has anyone ever added a hydraulic leveling system to their motorhome?

Thanks

We have hydraulic jacks on our Camelot (factory). While looking for motor home I came across a 03 Windsor that had both kinds of jacks from the factory. He said he rarely used the hydraulic one since the air leveling was so easy.

You would have to acquire the 3 jacks, pump and valves, located in front of the steps, the control pad for the cockpit, and the level sensor which is screwed to the ceiling of one of the storage cabinets about midship. Then they would have to be mounted and plumbed and wired. There are some interlocks wired, that retract the jacks if you put it in gear.

Not sure if you would be better off with new parts in a kit, or taking what you need from a salvage. Good luck!
