Hyd lift help

I am trying to figure out if I add and where I add hyd fluid to my system?? I thought the chrome cap on the motor was for unscrewing but it seems this is some kind of adjustment?? I hope I didn't screw something up by truning the heck out the knob!

What does this knob control?

Thanks Guys

Looks like a vent cap. It might pull off.

When you say "system" (needing to add fluid thereto), is this for jacks?....or slides?

FYI, on my jacks/leveling system, the removal of fluid from the reservoir (by putting the jacks down) causes a switch to close (internal to the reservoir) and lights a red light at the dash as the "Jacks Down" warning. If I'm low on fluid, the "Jacks Down" light will not extinguish....even when the jacks are fully up.

This would be for the jacks, I am able to lower them but I am noticing some small leaks. I know I will eventually need to fix this but she is just sitting now.

Not sure about the Nav but my reservoir is on the passenger side, behind the headlight. Slide the generator all the way out and contort yourself to reach a black plastic knob on top of the tank. Cannot tell where the fluid (ATF) is disappearing to but about every three months, I start hearing the low level chime.
