I have a small (4") cupboard door above the microwave that lifts up that I'd like to put a hydraulic (or whatever you call them) opener on like I have on some of my other doors. The cylinder needs to be a bit shorter than the ones on the other doors. Anyone know if they make shorter ones and if so were would I buy it.

Thanks

They are in the coast connection catalog. Almost all dealers deal with coast. You may find them on line.

I put a small magnet on the ceiling with a screw, just where the handle touches it. I got a strong one with a hole already in the center and had to change the knob to steel cause the brass one wouldn't stick to a magnet. Now the door stays wide open and out of the way. The only problem is the knob doesn't match the others.
