My 2004 Sig calls for a Parker IN HC 5720 spin on hydraulic filter. I would be interested in knowing the best place to get these or if you have found a cross reference Donaldson or Wix part number. Thanks

Part Detail

This is the one on our Dynasty RR10 chassis. Drop the 5 and it becomes a NAPA 1759. I tried running the Parker number with no results.

Thanks guys for all the info. That Parker number was out of the Monaco book that came with the MH. It still has the original Parker Filter on it but I am going to take it off this weekend and see what it really says for a part number.

I used the data that Twomed gave me and have bought a Wix 5179, which is the same as a Napa 1759, a FRAM PH3567, Donaldson P550388 and a FleetGuard HF6167.

I have verified all those filters being 10 micron which is what it calls for.

Well I took the original factory installed filter out and the part number is a Racor and not a Parker number. The number is actually Racor IN HC 5710 (the Monaco book said it was a 5720). I believe the difference with this filter and other replacement filters is that the Racor is resin impregnated cellulose water absorbing filter and the filter head that the filter is screwed onto has a bypass valve in it that "IF" the filter gets full of water then it bypasses the filter. This is also why the gauge is on the filter head. I would say that in a motorhome application the chances of getting water in the system are pretty slim. Maybe in a marine application or in farm machinery there is a chance.
