Hydraulic filters part number
2005 HR SCEPTER, NELSON hydraulic filter canister, 3 filters, trying to determine part number for filters and manufacture.

If you order six, they come in the factory box with cardboard between each filter like a six pack of beer. If you order 3, they take them out of the box. I don't know why you have glue residue on the outside though.

My manual indicates the hydraulic system hold 44 qts, is it possible to drain that much and is it necessary?

Yes and no. The procedure is to just drain the tank which holds less than 3 gallons. You'd have to go to a fitting low in the coach such as at the steering gear to drain that much out of the system.

A lot of people get a drill pump and clean the lid of the reservoir and pump enough out so the filters are in the dry putting it in a disposable 5 gallon bucket. Remove and replace the 3 filters and add fluid to outside of the filter stack.
Take the old fluid to a recycle place.
