IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL RV'ers :
Please lower all TV, Satellite antennas, and solar panels flat to the roof to give the sled a place to park and the reindeer won’t trip on things. If you need to keep your antennas extended, mark them with a slow flash red marker with a 7 degree up angle to keep from bothering the neighbors. NO STROBES ! It agitates the reindeer and you will be bypassed. As mentioned, solar panels should also be lowered to provide a reasonably flat landing surface. The entire weight of the sled and reindeer is less than 1.5lb/ sq.ft. (down from 2lb last year), so no damage will occur. Likewise, please lower all open vent covers. Santa has a magic opener to get in where necessary. Santa also carries a CH751 key just in case.
Those that have roof perimeter xmas lights on your RV are requested to leave them on tonight for short final visual as RV roof landings are particularly tricky due to the random positioning of the rigs, especially in the boondocking areas. Also, please be aware that there can be significant sled wash depending on approach and departure, so either retract or anchor all awnings.
The position of our aircraft can be monitored HERE, so please be ready as there is no time to orbit any drop points that are not ready or don't conform to the above guidelines.
NOTAM:
Due to varying configurations of the aircraft as it delivers it's cargo, it has been determined that there will be only one visible anti-collision marker located at the extreme front of the craft. TFR's surrounding this craft will be issued shortly.
Merry Christmas to All!
