Intellitec latching controller questions.
Hi all,
2003 Dynasty. Intellitec 10A latching controller on a Sureflo water pump.
It's labeled a 10A latching controller, and the pump label says max current 10A. And there's also a 30A relay between the latching controller and the pump.
Is there any reason to have a relay between the latching controller and the pump?
Seems redundant to me, and having that relay constantly energized is not a big load, but it is about 150mA that serves no apparent purpose.
Is the relay original or did somebody add it?
Also, the water pump switches have a little light next to them. Is that light supposed to come on any time the pump is turned on, or only when the pump motor is running? Mine never come on...
