Intermittant Audio from Radio

I am experiencing an issue with the original Megnadyne radio in my 2007 Cayman with surround sound amp in overhead cabinet. Whenever we encounter any bumps in the road the radio cuts in or out. When not in motion, if I bang on bottom of the overhead cabinet with my fist it will often come back on and work fine until we start down the road again. I have checked for loose wires behind the radio and at the surround sound amp and found no issues. From a couple wiring diagrams for 2007 Caymans, I suspect there is some kind of relay box that switches speakers from radio to surround sound amp when surround sound is turned on. Anyone know is there is such a relay box and if so, where this relay box might be located?

First off, welcome to iRV2!

Second, you should add a "signature" to your profile. It contains whatever info you want; most people put info about their coach there, so they don't have to type it into each message. Instructions for adding a signature are here.

On the sound system problem, the diagram at this post may help you figure things out. Our coach came with a simpler sound system, without the speaker-switch component(s).

My 03 Windsor does have a box and a switch on the dash that switches the
speakers from radio to surround.
My box is mounted in the cabinet to the left over the drivers head.
It is approx the size of a cigar box, black and is labeled River Pak.
I don't believe the company supports the device any longer.
