Intermittent Check Engine Light

Greetings All,

Took the coach in for the Norcold recall and I notoced the Check Engine light coming on and off. The fault monitor in the instrument cluster says the fault is SPN 651 and FMI 5. Local Cummins shop says it's possibly an injector issue (I have an ISC Cummins). We are supposed to hit the road to MN day after tomorrow so I took the coach to the local shop for a computer scan. Anyone know what those codes might mean?

I am confused because it sounds like the Cummins shop already told you what the codes mean. Do yourself and take it into a good authorized Cummins repair and get it fixed now rather than having it fail on the highway and screwing up your vacation and then having to find a shop to fix it.

I was just saying that the SPN and FMI are what the instrument panel readout in my coach told me. Am wondering if anyone has seen this before and what it might really mean. I know the real fault code has to be read using a scan tool or computer plugged into the diagnostic connector.
