Inverter

I just had my inverter rebuilt and the display shows batteries are fully charged, but the CHG light is blinking. Is it supposed to?

If it is a Magnum the blinking Green CHG light means the charger is in "standby". This can happen when the batteries become fully charged. The system will first go into Float and after a period of time, if there is no activity in the coach that exceeds the charger current, the charger will go into standby. We have about 600 watts of solar on the roof and system will often go into standby.

Thanks for the response. It seems to be now operating as you said and blinking when fully charged, however, it was originally blinking all the time. Maybe it is okay at this point. I did read the manual and since it was blinking all the time, it made little sense to me. The fault light came on a few times and then it seemed to level out and start performing properly. I did try to equalize it, which I have no idea what that does, but that may have helped.

Thanks again
