I've seen Onan generator gauge sets for sale. The question is are coaches pre-wired for them? We have a 04 HR Imperial.

I e-mailed Monaco tech support a few days ago and have heard nothing. (They've done it before)

You will get a much faster response from Monaco by calling them. They don't respond to email nearly as quickly as a phone call.

Never tried e-mailing them, but have called them several times and always got prompt service. Never even had to have them call me back, but I have always called during the day on week-days.

I'll call them tomorrow. Monday. Sure is rude though not answering e-mail when I've been told before that it helps them to be able to address non-emergency issues off the phone.

If they were to include a wiring diagram & running list with the coach I wouldn't need to call for the info at all. The answer to my request for the "dvd" I've heard about is to call parts and buy one.

Hi -

I've never had much luck with emails to the factory. They're always so busy there, it seems to be better to pester them with a ringing telephone than a quiet icon on a computer. I really don't think they're dissing you, they're just trying to do everything at once.

I called Monaco tech support this A/M. 40min hold! It appears that the coach isn't prewired for a gauge set. The tech said there is a diagnostic plug on the generator that I'd have to plug the gauge set into.

PusherPilot...
I am so sorry you were on hold for so long - I am thinking it could be that they are running short of staff because so many people may be off for the July 4th week.
I am glad you were able to get the info you needed...

Intresting. Are the gauges shown on the Onan site? If not, where have you seen them? Thanks.
