Is it normal to not have a Cruise Control "On" or "Activated" light?

I don't seem to have a light or indicator that the Crusie Control is turned On. It seems odd - all of my cars have a light on the dash when the cruise is On.
Is this common on these coaches.

I know I can look at the Aladdin System to see if Cruise is on or not, but I don't usually have the screen displayed (I leave the rear camera view on when driving). It would be a nice safety feature to know at a glance is the system is On or not. IMO.

So how many don't have any dash board indicator of the Cruise Control status?

This is all I get/see on the dash:

Cruise

My 2000 Dynasty does not have any Cruise indicator lights either.
I am not sure how new you need to go to have a cockpit close to a modern car or truck.

I’ve had several cars and motorhomes over the year that did not indicate activation and engaged. My new cars have both. Can’t remember off hand what the new my has.

Yeah. The cockpit has every other warning device and gauge found in a new/modern car or coach - its just missing this one thing.

I guess its not that important to know whether Cruise is On or Off while driving. If your On (and don't know it) and accidentally hit the "Set" or "Resume" button, you should realize it when you lift your foot off the throttle (and you don't slow down) then can tap the brakes to disengage.

Same on the '06 Dynasty. Not the case any more. We replaced the Aladdin with the Silverleaf, and now it does show the cruise control settings, and the screen is always live with the back-up camera image as the wallpaper. No switching required.

I never even thought about it until this post. I don't have any indicator either.

I have a green light labeled 'cruise' (upper right). It's on anytime the cruise control is 'armed' or 'engaged'.

sorry, picture isn't greatest because of the flash.
