The resort pictured is Outdoor Resorts-Indio

I have a thread with lots of other pics around May of last year. I will find that link later and post it for you!

TIS raining here in Indio.

I've cooked black-eyed peas for New Year's before. But started a tradition of shrimp and white russians while living in the Keys.

Will you still be at Camp Monaco when we get up there in April? We can recommend a good dealer in Mesa, AZ where it's much warmer.

And thanks for the phone call today, on our first real road trip. Glad you talked with Rick since I had both hands firmly gripping the wheel. TWAS windy!

Stay safe and warm.

Well... I had another victim pay the Toll this evening! Charles and Martha of CB5300 stopped by on their way to the hotel. I thought their coach could have been here at Camp Monaco...but I was mistaken.
Anyway..we had a nice visit and chatted for awhile. It looks like Martha and I have similar color palette tastes..and Charles is into a different type of racing...but it is racing! (I did not tell him I have done the Petty Driving Experience and that both Sacs and I have driven over 140 MPH )
I hope to meet up with them tomorrow when they go look at their coach. They will be heading back to Portland tomorrow evening because they have such an early flight out on Tuesday...so none of Mama's cooking will touch their lips this visit...oh well...

Another Great Monaco couple to add to my collection! If you get a chance to visit with cb5300.. please take the time to visit..you won't regret it!

Actually, she had to do Petty Driving School 4 times to get it right!!! I on the other hand, only needed one time to achieve my goal.. The 140+ mph is not on a straightaway either, it is around corners..Albeit I have to admit they are all left turns..
We both also have driven open wheel race cars at the Jack Russell School in Laguna Seca..What a rush...This one is on a road track with uphill, downhill S-curves etc...
Can you believe she won't drive the Diplomat??? Whats with that???

Hmmm, are you sure you know everything that goes on in Oregon while you're in CA? Next time you go up look to see if the Dip is in the same exact spot you last parked it. And check the odometer. You may be surprised.
