Hi all,

I have an 07 Camelot with an ISL400. When driving down the road under a constant load (turbo boost, speed, level ground, etc) my engine coolant temperature on the alladin jr fluxuates 10-12 deg every 30-40 seconds. The temp rises to 204 then the fan kicks in and temp cools to 192-194. This happens every 30-40 seconds. Even when going down slight hill off throttle this happens but at slower rate. I just had the coach in the Harrisburg facility an they said cunnins reprogramed the fan control from fixed to a variable mode. Before this the temp fluxuated between 212 down to 192 every 45-50 seconds. Seems to me fan should ramp up to maintain temp at a more constant temp under a constant load. Any comments on this normal or what

thanks in advance

Scott, not sure about your Camelot, but there has been an issue with some of them where they boxed in the engine compartment and they got very hot. The bedrooms were also getting hotter than they should. Apparently Monaco is double insulating and adding a vent to the area.

Thanks Don,

I'm aware of the vent/grille. I asked about it while at Harrisburg and they didn't have much info about it. Have you seen any pictures of the grille? I saw an 08 or 09 Camelot in one of the service bays and it had vent slots built into the rear enging cover.

Disregard the picture request of the Camelot grille, I found one in the photos section of this forum
