John we had a 99 dip with jack leveling and the older coaches with slide outs did have a bit of a problem but was addressed with proper leveling technique on coaches with jacks, Monaco Finlay settled on park in spot, extend slide, blow air down and level, then reverse to leave crank coach air up,jacks up, slide in. I think any coach with slides will give trouble in a really bad out of level spot.
I never had another problem once I started this procedure. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Is this the reason my owners manual (2000 Beaver)insists on extending slides before leveling? I couldn't figure out why it was important and I have read other brands of coaches do it the opposite.
I haven't had any windshield problems but I don't use it much yet either. I met an owner of a slightly older one who had 8 pop outs, 4 for each side.
