My 96 F 53 came with a stabilizer, just a standard hydraulic shock type. There was a post somewhere else where some one had gotten "tyron" filler bands. When I went to the website and watched and read, I thought, wow such a simple, yet effective safety device. It fills the drop center so the tire cannot roll sideways and wadd up basically. Then after really looking and analyzing what happens in a blowout situation, it is not hard to see, at least on a F53, how vulnerable the brake lines are up front. Anyway, might want to check it out. Link below. Sorry but for what ever reason insert link doesn't work properly, paste to your browser.

absolutely, look for utube videos how to handle blowouts.
before you worry about stabilizers get a Tpms system, keep all tire pressure where they belong.

YES, several years ago in New Mexico, my wife blew the psngr front tire doing 62mph in our 45ft Sig. Fortunately, about a week before, she had watched Michelin's video on what to do with a blowout. She controlled it beautifully, never even got out of her lane. The disintegrating tire did lots of damage to the coach.

We had a right front tire blow out on Interstate 8 while my wife was driving. I was sleeping in the passenger seat and it blew right under me while she was going about 65. It sure woke me up fast! She was smart and did not get on the brakes, but just used the power steering to keep it on the road until it slowed down. The Monaco hydraulic system gives you a large mechanical advantage on the flat tire.
Then the fun began finding a mobile tire service and a tire the right size.
In 2000 we had the big Firestone tire blowout fiasco on the Ford Explorer SUV. One of the action groups outfitted an Explorer with outriggers and an explosive charge to blow the front tire. They proved you had to triple screw up to roll it over. It started with running too low of a tire pressure, then you had to stomp the brakes hard and at the same time you had to jerk the steering wildly one direction and then over correct the opposite direction.
I'm truly sorry for anyone that has rolled a vehicle, but there is no substitute for a good driver.
