Got a big chunk of the buckled 3/4" OSB floor removed to expose the buckled tube. I then went at the bad tube with a Metabo. Got it cut out.... Should be easy to splice in a new short piece of 1 1/2" square tubing.
Glad to get this part of the demo done finally.

You're probably going to get the best price from Duncan Systems in Elhardt, IN. I ordered one half of mine from them a few years ago before I had it insured. I did a lot of searching then and they were the least $ and they had my windshield in stock. Last year the other half had to be replaced and the insurance company also used Duncan.

As long as you are in that area, and you have to replace that HVAC box anyway
Might as well pull the cover over the blower motor and change it.

It will be allot easier now

Yes, definitely go through Duncan systems for ws replacement. They handled my ws order with utmost professionalism and speed. As you know I have the sister coach to yours.

Building my house in northern Thailand last year, the gov. licensed electrician needed to get through the steel top cap and down to where the panel was going to be located. A steel frame house but instead of using a drill and disk cutter he burned his way with a stick welder. Was faster but the fire and smoke was terrible. Seems the locals have different standards then we do

Got my stairwell cover mechanism re-installed... Works good now after straightening the bent parts and cleaning/lubing the acme screw and the slide mechanisms. Hope to post some video of it working when I get some time. Wasted a couple evenings prepping to race my old dirt bike in a local county fair in the "old man" vet 50+ class. Hadn't raced MX in over 20 years... My wife was less than thrilled with the idea. Placed 2nd out of 7 and had not been on the bike at all in a couple years. Kind of sore today... no working on the coach tonight. Think I will hit the hot tub tonight instead.
Lol

Just purchased wrecked 2004 Camelot PDQ... big project

Hmmm. Must still be recovering from the dirt bike weekend. Bet it was a blast though.

Work is crazy right now but I have been working on boring little items up front. I got the upper dash pad separated from the lower dash piece. The lower dash piece had all of it's self tapping screws snapped where it attached to the firewall. I now have all of them dug out and tomorrow I remount with new screws and locknuts. The upper dash pad had a broken out piece where the right defrost vent attached. I removed the staples in that area from the vinyl and am re attaching the broken wood pieces then will reattach the vinyl and defrost vents. This kind of detail is going to take some time to complete but has to be done before I can think about mounting a front cap. I also have to remove the dash blower as it appears to have a cracked housing. Not sure yet how the whole blower assembly is removed from the distribution box?

A few more pics of the upper dash damage and a pic of the blower assy that needs to come off for repair. Still not sure how exactly to remove it from the plenum it is attached to. I can see and probably get to two bolts on bottom and two bolts on rear side, but if it also has bolts on top and front, I can't get to them.

If you remove the blower motor along with squirrel cage you may be able to
look up into the plenum and see the screws .
Seeing them may help you develop a plan .
Can the cracked housing be repaired while still in place ?
