Just replaced the Dessicant filter.

Preparing for a long cross country trip and was performing some PM's. One was the dessicant filter change on the air dryer. Wow was that baby on there tight. I think a 900 lb gorilla must have cranked it down. Ooops the gorilla was me . I changed it out last time also and tightened it according to the procedure but this time I literally had to drive a hole in it with a screw driver, put a pipe on it as a breaker bar and still had to put a lot of force on it to loosen it. All of that lying on my back with very little clearance to the bottom of the motorhome and a small cavity up inside the undercarriage where the air dryer is. I sure turned a half hour job into a 3 hour job. I made sure this time on the install to only tighten it 3/4 of a turn after the seal touched the base.
If you do this maintenance do yourself a favor and pay particular attention to not tightening it one full turn as the procedure says.
