Keyless Entry control

The key pad does not work, tried to reset the red button programming switch, no beeps or light, however the key fob works fine on both entry door and bay doors. The control center is in a console next to the pass. seat, is there another reset or fuse?

The keypad had probably bit the dust, it has been known to happen.

Do you know if your system is an Essex Keyless Entry

Here is a post on the IRV2 forum regarding replacing the touch pad

http://www.irv2.com/forums/f84/essex...ry-230232.html

This should answer all your questions.

I had exactly the same problem. Replaced the keypad. All the keyless entry & lock functions now work.

I found my Trimark unit on the PS below teh cup holder. I got eh owners manual for the Trimark and found that (in my case) I had to use a jumper wire to rest the unit. Then reprogram it. It took a bit as the instructions weren't real straight forward. The reprogramming is all done at the keypad.
