My keyless entry has suddenly stopped working. I have checked the batteries in the keypads and they are OK.

Next step - trying to find the fuse for the keyless. Checking my manual page 173 and take off the cover for the Front Distribution Fuse panel. Almost at the top of the panel I see a complete horizontal row of fuses all marked from F1 til F58, but the fuse numbers on the inside panel cover does not refer to F numbers. The cover refers to "2-11 Keyless 15 amp fuse".

I have now been forwards and backwards through the manual but can't find any reference to the F numbers on the fuses. Can I find such a reference anywhere?

This should be the same as yours. I also think there is one in-line to the TriMark control box. Should be located on top of your center dash console. If it is anything like mine, it'll be buried in with all the aladdin and radio wires.

It's labeled, but not at all clearly. You just have to know how to decode the cryptic descriptions. If you look above the row of fuses, there is a row of labeled connectors. On the inside cover label, the circuits are grouped by those connectors. Under each connector title is the list of fuses for that connector, with the following information:
  • The first number is the pin number of the connector.
  • The second number is the fuse F-number (but you have to mentally add an F prefix.)
  • Then there is the circuit description.
  • Last is the size of the fuse, prefixed with "cb-" if it's actually a self-resetting circuit breaker.
So, in your case, since the second number is 11, you want fuse F11.

Hey Henrik,
Just remembered, AKBrick also had that problem and I think all he did was take a pink eraser and clean the contacts on the door frame.

Thanks Guy's

Mandys Man - you got this spot on. I cleaned the contacts and it's back working.

Shipshape and Bristol fashion.

Just for info......I've been working on the neighbor's 08 Diplomat. His controller was behind the two drawers under the dash. Three pushes on button attached to the receiver, wait until the red light comes on and push the lock button on the key fob and the fobs are reprogrammed.
