I am having some problems with the King Dome shutting down randomly. I would like to check out the 12VDC wiring to the King Dome. The coach (2006 Endeavor) was pre-wired for a satellite antenna, but I have not figured out which fuse is in that circuit. The fuse is probably located in the panel in the front compartment on driver's side. I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

First, the pre-wire generally consists of running the coax and not the power for the king dome. If you check, given the age of your MH, your king dome probably runs entirely on 110.
If you have the system with the separate box with the 2 line text display on it, it is powered by a 12v power supply plugged into your 110!.
Dismount that box and follow the power cable to the adapter. Also, check that little black box itself - disconnect all power and open it up. There are several connectors inside, and one of them vibrated loose on my system - I looked for it intermittently for 6 months before I found it - solved all my random outages.

I also have a King Dome on my 06 Endeavor and it runs on 12 volt only. Mine was installed by the dealer not Monaco so where it draws it's power could be different than yours. On mine the installer spliced into the 12 volt supply for the video switch in the compartment above the driver seat. I would recommend you follow the wiring coming out of the search switch. There should be two wires one going to the dome and the other to the 12 volt supply. I have had some problems with my dome searching correctly if the 12 volts is low. Because of the losses in the connection I have to turn on my generator to get a high enough DC voltage to the dome, I think I need the 12 volts at about 13 volts to make things work correctly. BTW what do you mean when you say "King Dome shutting down randomly". On mine once it finds the satellite I shut down the 12 volts to the dome.

I appreciate your reply. The power source is 12Vdc as antenna can be cycled with coach being connect to 110Vac. I called the installer and they said that because it was prewired they do not know where fuse is located other than in the front left compartment. I really think my problem is that the required voltage for the King Dome drops below a certain voltage threshold and the unit shutsdown.

I think you are on the right track regarding voltage threshold King Domes seem to be sensitive to this. Someone suggested to me that I install a dedicated 110 volt to 12 volt converter for the dome. Does not to be very large converter. Just plug it into the outlet used for the satellite receiver then connect it to the dome control box.

I had the same issue with mine a few months ago. I had 13 v at the connection ,but the sat or stereo amp would not run. I found a lose ground wire in the power side that was feeding the system. It showed 13 v until I put a load on it. Replaced the white 2 wire connector and everything is happy ....including the DW .
