Hi, Newbie here...I have a 38 foot 2001 Monoco Diplomat with one slide out on the left that contains the kitchen & sofa. I am having a problem with the white flexible drain tube that is in the wall between the kitchen and bathroom; although there is limited access through a cabinet that contains the small garbage can; the only real access to the pipe is by either taking the paneling off in the bathroom wall or removing the mirror wall in the kitchen. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem or may have a suggestion.
Thank you,

I had my panel removed that has the mirrors on it because I think they are cheap cathouse looking and while it was off I inspected my flexible tube to make sure it was not leaking and it still looked good. I was going to have the mirror taken off that is on the side of the fridge cabinet but it was going to cost me too much in my opinion to get it done so I left it alone. I replaced my Norcold 1200LRIM and I thought about getting rid of the mirror when I did the fridge but was afraid I would tear up the panel the mirror is glued to. It is not so obnoxious as the mirror was on the stove side in my opinion. George R. 2001 Diplomat PBD

If your trash can cabinet is the one that backs up to the mirrored bathroom wall, then the back of it will come out. Mine has a couple of screws. Even with the back and end panel of that small angled cabinet out, access to the pipes is limited.

Thank you,
Hi...I posted this in February, 2012 since then I have solved the problem. I cut an access hole (approximately 24" x 14") in the bathroom paneling. Be careful not to cut to deep to avoid electric & plumbing lines. I cut mine along a 3/4" x 1 1/2" horizontal inner support piece. When this piece is removed all concerning hardwarre is exposed. Simply cut or unscrew damage pieces. I was able to find the 1 1/2" white flexible drain pipe at a local swimming pool warehouse. Be sure to cycle the slide out a couple of times, so you can watch that all moveable pieces do not contact anything. Replace cut out panel, and trim out. I used 1 1/2" plastic molding that matched color of the bathroom door. Secure with stainless steel screws & washers.
NOTE: I added a couple of vertical 3/4" x 1 1/2" pieces to support panel along cut line. Thank you.
