I stuff pillows & all sorts of things into my cupboards to keep things in place. Works well. I have the foam shelf liners between my dishes, however I have found that with a midship kitchen not much moves. It is the pantry (read free for all) that shifts the most. I have liquour in the rear cabinets on each side of the big window & I put bath towels in there to keep them from moving. Our basement has tubs (rubbermaid ) to store all the stuff we need, then I also have those shopping baskets (read liberated from a multi-use lifetime of groceries) that keep stuff neat that we use all the time. Works for us.

My wife uses the rubberized shelf liner in between just about everything. Seems to keep everything in order and NO rattles. Our basement compartments have mostly plastic storage boxes the keep everything in order. So far so good and it's a pretty quiet ride.

My wife has found the absolute perfect solution to all that rattling pots and pans, glassware, broken dishes, etc.
Leave it home and make reservations. As a matter of fact, that's just about her preference for everything cooking related. LOL

Same here, never hear a rattle. For space saving, mostly in the frig, she puts about everything in zip-lock bags (no 1/3 full tupperware)...gives us more room and they keep other things from tipping. She'll put her unused (not very often) frozen Pina Colata stuff from the blender into a bag. Then she can contort it to fit in the freezer.

Same here - never a rattle or a broken dish. Coffee pot and crock pot sit on the shelf liner on the counter and never move while traveling. If fridge is full, the retention bars work great. If the fridge is not full we stuff some pillows in to make it so.
