I have an 96 Dynasty. Cant seem to get power to one of the fuse banks in the front run bay. also No indash blower! I emaile Monaco, and was told it could be the Klaxen fuse in the rear run bay! Can anyone tell me what that is, what it looks like and where it is? I have tried about everything else! Thanks for any advice! allegro5 Fla and Vt Snowbird

Sorry, I have never heard of a Klaxen Fuse. I have heard of a Klaxon Horn.

I did a Google on Klaxen fuse and they don't seem to know what it is either!

However, no power to one of the fuse banks to me would indicate a main circuit breaker has tripped or a Maxi Fuse has blown, or possibly a fuse link or one of the relays.

Might be time to get that test light out to do a little probing.

Can you tell us what is not working besides the blower?

Sorry Ray, I must have had a brain Burp! It is a KLIXON Thermal breaker. I havent used Google many times and didnt think to try! Of course, had I Googled Klaxon I would have seen a picture of a horn older than even I am! Had one once! I have 3 test lights but dont always know what should be hot! I did find a cracked 20 Amp circuit Breaker and have one comming today at NAPA. Thanks again. allegro5

We have a Klixon Breaker in a main junction box located in the engine bay of our Scepter. We managed to trip it on our first trip in the coach and it shut down just about everything. Monaco tech support told us where it was and had us back up and running within minutes when we called. I am attaching a photo of what ours looks like. It's the black component on the right with the yellow lever. The lever will move to the "off" position when tripped. Hope it helps.

Glad you found the problem!

Gotta luv the English language!

To be honest, I had never heard of that type of circuit breaker before your posting.

Going to check that out right now!

Cheers!
