I changed from the OEM Bilsteins on my Alpine at 8000 miles to Koni's and I noticed a distinct improvement, especially with big dips in the road. Haven't had any big winds to drive in since the change, but all my friends who have made the change say it really makes a difference.

I changed out the OEM Monroe's at about 10k miles and what a difference. Not sure how much they will help with sustained wind but less rocking with gusty winds. As Rick posted the Koni's really tamed the big dips. With the Monroes I almost attained low earth orbit a few times. The concrete road segments were less abrupt and heard them more than felt them. Absolutely worth the money. Still wont ride like a Prevost but a much less tiring ride and less jarring.

Marcel....One of my biggest improvements was the change to Koni shocks. They all but eliminated the jarring in the front suspension and had an added bonus. They noticeably improved the handling.

Do yourself a favor and check your ride height. There are several posts on how to do it and it onloy takes about 10 minutes. If your ride height if off by more than an inch or so, your coach can/will handle funny.
