I am installing Laminate flooring in our 02 Holiday Rambler 40 PBT and the slide on the driver side has two rollers in the floor on each end. Because it does not have a roller in the center the center of the slide sags down enough to rub on the floor, not a lot but it does and fear of scratching is killing me. It was a BI%# to get the tile out from under the kitchen slide. I will attach pictures tomorrow. Does anyone know where I could get one of those rollers? They are adjustable which is perfect. Any help would be great.

I am also looking for some material to replace the burl wood plastic side dash for the driver. It is all cracked. I think a plate of carbon fiber would look good. Anyone know of any place to get the replacement dash or something to make it out of?

Thanks to all
Jim

Jim.....You might be able to use one of those furniture moving pads (discs you place under the feet to easily slide furniture around) in the center of the slide. Glue it to the bottom of the slide......just a thought.

Are you sure you only have two rollers? My Diplomat kitchen slide has three. Two are attached to the slide, one at the rear and one in the cabinet next to the couch. The stationary roller is at the front of the slide and only accessible from the wheel well by removing a cover there. The two that move with the slide are in the floor of the slide inside the cabinets.

If you are really missing the one in the center (cabinet by the couch) you could order it from Monaco and install it yourself in the floor of the slide. All the rollers are adjustable. The rollers on my coach are about 8 - 12 inches long and 1 1/4 or so inches in diameter. Adjustments are on each end.

You do realize if your rollers get any dirt on them it will scratch your floors. I don't know of a way to totally elliminate the scratches.

The rollers are in the floor and roll on the slide. Megatech of Oregon has a roller that I can mount in the center, problem solved. The furniture slide was and is still an option if the roller is too expensive.

Thanks all....
