...Okay...so, we are at the Monaco Service Center ...and they have a great laundry facility (probably better then in Nappanee, Bob!) ...I have about a week's worth of laundry to do and all the washers are available (5 total)
I am minding my own business - doing the wifely thing (don't say anything Mic! )...Sacs calls me ..."are you still in the area...or heading to the coast" type thing ...(please explain we women do laundry differently - it seems to take longer...because we stay there!)
Now Sacs wants to know where Diplomat Don is...(Dip D...don't say anything...He knows nothing!)I have pled the 5th!!

Oh, I have to say something. It took me a while to stop laughing so I could type.

I'm assuming Sacs is at the Service Center with you? Does he not understand? I think he is just missing you. Let me tell you how it is with us.

Laundry time is just about our only time apart. Truly. It can sometimes take hours to do laundry and after 31 years together, Rick understands this. (Don't tell him I said so, but it also gives him plenty of time to vacuum & dust while I'm gone.)

As we are getting ready to go full-time, he recently bought me one of those laundry carts with wheels so I can take the laptop and whatever else I need (book, yarn) to the laundry center. He's so good to me.

When I first read your post and you said "wifely thing", something came to my mind. Something that Rick gave to me about 30 years ago, that I've kept in a safe place. ~~~

A woman can be taught to cook, mow the lawn, wash the car, and tie flies. She can be trained to clean the house, carry out the trash, walk the dog, can albacore and smoke salmon. Through practice, she may even improve her facility at certain more personal marital duties.
But if she doesn't clean fish before you're married, it's a cinch you're not going to get her to do it afterwards.

I love him more than anything! Mic, of

Or you could have a washer/dryer combo installed in the coach... it would probably pay for itself in a couple of years. Laundry at laundromats is expensive. I know, our RV park laundry is a nice profit center.

I wonder how expensive it would be to drive over to "Camp Monaco"!?
