I brought the rig up to the cabin, hooked up the city water and turned it on 3 days ago (Wed). Didn't hook up grey drain, thought I'd wait to see if I would use any water and then worry about it then. Went out to wash floor today (Sat) and found shower floor with 3 inches of water. Past experiance told me that the grey tank was full. I looked around and noticed dripping from the bottom of the slide and top of the basement. Drained everything, opened up things to air out. Leak must be in slide out (dripping at the bottom). I am really at a loss to understand how the city water could leak into the grey tank. If it was a leaky faucet that would make sense, but no evidence of that in the kitchen or any other rooms. I'll check everything out tomorrow and make a posting of what I find.

Anyone with a comment?

Pat

First there is no know connection from city water to gray tank in any motorhome that I am aware of except through a drain. If I was troubleshooting this the first thing I would do is disconnect from city water and turn on the pump and listen for it to cycle. This will assist you in proving there is a leak somewhere. If I heard the pump cycle I would then start at the washing machine if I had one shutting off the water at the valves. next I would wrap each and every faucet with a towel and wait to see if one got wet. The last thought is if it has been raining hard and you have lost your vent cap but it would have had to rain a lot. Actually on reflection if the shower pan was full and everything else was dry I might suspect someone left the shower dripping and since the water is already there you can't tell.
