I have a 2005,38 ft. LaPalma with 3 slides. The stitching on the cover for the bedroom slide deteriorated on the r.v. side and was hanging down except for the two ends which were attacted to the moterhome. I assumed this was the cause of my leak and repaired the sewing. I noticed then I was putting the cover back on that the seal on the front side of the slide was not touching the slide and making a seal. It rained last night and the carpet inside was wet again. Does anyone know who makes the slide and possibly how to ajust the slide to get the seal to work. Thanks in advance for any help, Its getting harder to climb over the bed.

The slide would be either Power Gear or Lippert and I would bet on Lippert. If the slide mechanism has cables to move it, then it is Lippert.

I had a similar problem on my 04 LaPalma main slide. It was the rear seal that wasen't touching. Fortunely, it was under warranty and was adjusted at Lazy Days.
Looking under the slide, I can readily see the vertical adjusting bolts. I've got no idea on how to adjust it horizontally.

I've got the same problem on my 2005 Gulf Stream. I also think it's the seals, but haven't figured it out yet. Mine has plywood under the fabric that has rotted. When you figure it out, Please let me know....GULFer

Here is Gulfstream info also. You may have to do something with your plywood floor for better support.

Thanks everone for your respondes , I think the problem has a bandaid on it for now. I jacked the side that was low up, slide two 1/2 in. thick balic birch shims under the rollers and set the slide back down on the shims. This toke care of the gap in the seal on the top. Its raining again here in northern Mn. and just went out to check it and sims to be working. We'll see if I get wet feet in the morning.

Gulfer, the wooden shims above the rollers did the trick, I just screwed them in place to keep them from moving. Have had a couple good rains here and the carpet has stayed dry. I'll keep looking for a ajustment , looks like it will be complicated.
