We will be shoving off at 6am tomorrow, we have a short stop at Redlands truck for a 4 corner weigh and any adjustments in load and air preasure. From there we will be hedding up the 5 (pretty dull) but its the most direct route. First stop over will be a Lake Minden Resort near Sacramento. This is the first BIG trip in the HR (over 500 miles) see ya on the road!

Hi Chuck and Ruth,
Good start on getting all four corners weighed before the trip.

You'll be fairly close to us. We are spending the weekend in Grass Valley at the fairgrounds with 50 amp power water and sewer. (never had sewer at a dogshow before) Man , it's hot down here! 104 degrees, but it is cooling of to the 80's today thank goodness.

Good luck on your trip, your starting out right.

Tom, I don't know who you are getting your weather info from, but it is forecast 105* today and is already 88 in the shade here in SacTown. Maybe 80 at night???

Just checked 10:55 AM and it is 93 in Grass Valley. Hey Tom, you aren't far from our favorite dealer, you and Jo should go over and look at a new Signature or Dynasty while you're in town Tell Jon that MM said hello and I'm sure you'll get a larger discount...

mountainkowboy....If you get a chance, try Granzella's restaurant just north of Sacramento. It's a neat Italian place with RV parking. It's right off the road and there are several highway signs before you get there.

We are now in Roseburg, OR. What a difference! theres a nice breeze and it around 70*. We ended up going up the 5....never again, that road beat the crap out of us, the 99 from now on. Well diners almost ready so bye for now.

Another check in, the HR is preforming flawlessly and VERY comfy. It rained on us off and on from Portland to Bellevue. We are in a RV Park in Issaquah, WA for a couple of days. A little pricey and right next to the Interstate, so its a little noisey, live and learn!

Well we are off to visit friends and family now. Will be back on tonight.

It's starting to sound like Texas heat. Now you know why the breaches in our air conditioning ducts have been sealed with expanding foam. All our ac now goes into the living area instead of the attic and basement.
