I want to change my Headlight bulbs to LED to lower the current load through the light switch. Anyone have a brand/part number? My headlight bulb is a GE H7 Searches bring up all kings junk.

You have the BMW 5 series head lamp assemblies.
Do the google search and IRV2 threads will show up related to this. You need to do some checking before you purchase and "POP in" LED lamps in these housings.
I think in these housings you are better off using a high quality halogen lamp and checking for voltage drop. There is information on re wiring to get good voltage to these lamps.

Low voltage is a common problem with many coaches. The LEDs work great in some types of assemblies, Maybe there is an LED out there that will pop in and work well int the BMW lamps, but research it before you buy.
Also most of the aftermarket replacement assemblies are very poor quality.
Hope this helps.

Here is what I'm looking at, just trying to find out what the watt draw is.

Steve at m4products.com is very helpful. I've recently converted my 2007 HR to LEDs. In my shop the difference in light output is remarkable. I can't wait to drive at night!

Don't agree with most aftermarket lights are junk....pay the price for projectors.......it's the shape of reflector that makes the difference....

LED's Rock

I successfully converted both my 2500HD & my previous class C RV. I sourced them both off Amazon sellers w/ excellent results. Identify the correct numbers and use the reviews as a guide.

I used KASO bulbs for the RV which uses 9005 & 9006 bulbs. They fit perfectly, give 8000 lumen (4000 each) w/ 16000 on high. Their aim is great so I get no frantic flashers on low beam. The difference is supreme & the light quality is super w/ 6000k light temp. Signs are remarkably more readable.

I also converted all the lights on that coach interior & exterior w/ excellent results and the current draw is great!
But you must research each brand & watch the reviews. I only use those with 4+ stars over higher numbers of reviews. Reviews w/ less than 20 reviews is too small a sample.

Now, I get to do it again on my Monaco but it will be worth it.

Happy Trails

No LED "Bulbs" have the same light pattern as the incandescent bulb and therefore the reflectors fail to distribute the light properly.

Change the housings, projectors, where the reflectors and the light source were matched in design.

Great, if you can get them. I haven't found any for my rig.

Yes, I have just put in my third one and I have a spare. They are all made like crap now a days so I'm lowering the current draw. These are only 1.3 amps each. Without the current draw the switches are still mechanically junk.
