Level sensor or float

A friend of mine has a AHE-100-02S in his 03' Monaco that he just bought and I pointed out that the coolant level in the overflow was not changing while heating up or cooling down. tube looks and feels good but I told him to get an expert to look at it as he could burn out the boiler.
Tech told him that it could not burn out because the unit would shut down if too low. I told him I would check with you but that I thought the AHE-100-02S and 01s did not have a level sensor.

Am I correct? He has it in Central Point Oregon.

I am pretty sure mine doesn't change level but just to be sure you should remove the radiator cap on top of the unit and make sure the rubber gasket hasn't stuck to the metal. Those radiator caps get pretty old. It might be worth replacing it. I replaced mine when I bought my mh. There is a level sensor in the front of the boiler. It cannot be changed without removing all the boiler coolant.
