I haven't used the leveling system for a year. Last week we drove up to Minnesota (I know, wrong way this time of year). Camped at Wal-Mart and now in the kids driveway. Leveling system wouldn't work but thankfully, the default travel mode did work.

I have an appointment on Monday with a place to fix a tire and they also said that they work on HWH leveling systems. I did some research and thought that I could at least check out all the fuses. It turns out that the silver controller box is in the ceiling of the first bay. I crawled in and took the cover off. I found it PACKED with shredded debris, just like a mouse would leave in a nest. I cannot figure out how he got in. The cover was a really tight fit. But, that's where we stand. I cleaned it all out and crossed my fingers, but nothing happened when I hit the leveling button. For those interested souls, I'll post the findings and the cost after I get it repaired.

Safe Travels,

Pat

Very possibly could be mice they like to eat wires... And they do a LOT of damage.

Good luck and let us know how you make out. They scare the heck out of me as far as motorhome wiring becasue there is so much. I just this week had that issue with one of my work vehicles. It is driven and used every day. The power door locks wuit about 6mths ago and couldn't find what was wrong just hadn't taken it in. This week the radio quit and when starting and shutting off there would be about a 3second delay. Since we are slow had my guys look at it. Ended up finding a mouse nest under the fuse box in engine compartment and chewed wiring. Had to repair and splice about 6wires. Now everything works. I am curious if anyone has comments about what they do for their coach while in storage, scares the heck outta me.

Jon

Old fashion wooden mouse trap with peanut butter. Doesn't seem to matter where you store them, mice know! We check traps during our non-moving months about every two weeks. Once you get a mouse they send out notifications to their relatives! and boy do they end up being spendy.
