Driving on I-75 the driver side front slide moved out 6 inch at bottom.
I had the top lock bar inplace and it held the top. All the people waving and yelling
At RV repair shop now: 1. no visable leaks.
2. check the (manual relief screw was tight)
3. checked the solenoid operated valved for and dirt, cuts, OK creep 5 min.
4. swap with a jack valve creep in 5 min.
5. did a cylinder internal leak check both directions on both rams OK
Now What??
If anyone has good iDEA ?

THANKS GG

Gerry,
The more that I think about this problem of yours, and potentially mine, the more I think that you have an internal leak on the manifold system.
I am looking at the pics of my pump assembly when they had it out in Ocala and since you said that there are no external leaks, the problem must be an internal leak on the manifold valve arrangement.
It is pouring rain here right now, but when it lets up, I will pull the stair and take a closer look.
Can you put a Digital Volt meter on the motor power leak to make sure that there is no juice getting there when it is not supposed to.

Unfortunately I can't help you with your slide issue but you made a comment which raised a question. You stated that you had the top lock bar inplace and it held the top. What is a lock bar? Is this a feature with you coach or something after market? If it is a feature with the coach I'm wondering if I have it in my coach and just don't know it's there.
Thanks

Have you thoroughly purged the hydraulic system? Sounds like there may be some air in the system. Also check that you hydraulic reservoir is full before you start the purge procedure.

GG- as Ray ( idenphones ) says there has to be a leak in the solenoid/valve assy.- when the pump shuts off on some systems there is always a 'residual' pressure that remains and as long as the solenoid/valve is working then no pressure will reach the particular circuit ( in this case the slideout ) - some sytems bleed this residual pressure off when the circuit shuts down, others do not and its this remaining pressure that can creep into a circuit(s) and cause whatever it is connected to to operate - same as anything that is actuated by hydraulics - tractor, dump truck, etc.- so look there first - air can be compressed so its the actual fluid thats causing the slideout to move - in other words after you command the hydralic system to shut down whatever is defective is allowing that pressurized fluid to operate that circuit - the hydraulics are no different from any other equipment so if an RV dealer cannot solve the problem look for a shop that speciallizes in hydraulics and they may be able to help you - let us know what you find

1. kkettering The lock bar is standard equipment by Monaco on this coach with the hydraulic slided. It is a telescopic rod with threads that fit into a pocket at the top of the wall next to the slide. The other end has a rubber surfaced foot to jack against the inter surface of slide out when in the retracked position. Your coach may have a different lock feature. My bedroom is electric motor and cable and has no back up lock. Of coarse it's on the road side so it would not take the top off a oncoming car, it would just clip off mail boxes.
2. TX iceman The first thing I did when I pulled off the road was look for leaks (none) outside and cycle the slide in and out a few times. Checked the tank and is was full.
The first thing the Tech guy did was cycle the slide in and out and check for fluid level.

I woke up early so I thought that I would go outside to pull the step up to take a better look.
Now, It is raining AND snowing! I wanna go back to Florida!
Opened up the awning to keep myself dry. (Miserable out there!)
Anyhow, another thought. Why not take a picture or two of the manifold/valve assembly and send it by email to Lippert? They seem to need a picture or two to verify the model of the pump etc.
They built it...........well at least designed it. Their techs should know what is happening.
My guess is that they will replace the entire assembly instead of just a valve or two.

Here's a thread about slide lock bars. I have mine but they were not installed when I bought the coach. Am still not certain as to the exact placement but the picture shows where I placed mine.
FWIW
Where Do The Slide "Lock'R" Bars Go?
