We are headed out for first long trip (2-3 months) our frig will make and keep ice but isn't really that cold. How cold should it be? Oh year we have a Beaver Marquie 2004. In a rain storm last night. Woke up with all lights lite up on the inverter?? Local shop called trace and they instructed them to unplug from big unit in storage bay to reset. Now we are hooked up to a 30 amp hookup using a splitter I have. I used to have power to all my outlets and run one air conditioner using the splitter and just an extension cord. Now the only way I can get power to the outlets is using the inverter and no air conditioning? Not sure if something is different with the inverter setting or what?? Any help very much appreciated thanks in advance

Many inverters have 2 reset buttons on it. Please go out and reset the buttons. This may give you the answer you need. (You can see the buttons on the bottom left corner in this picture.)

I hope that helps.

Not sure if this is what you were asking but...In reference to your ice and the temperature of your fridge; have look at this article from RV now. RV NOW: What Is That White Plastic Strip On The Metal Fins Inside My Refrigerator?
It explains how to increase or decrease the temperature of your fridge compartment separate from your freezer.

Here is a diagram for a later monaco unit, but the general idea will be the same, it may help you out. It sounds like you have lost the AC power coming into the MH at either the transfer switch or from the outside power pole. If you can run your outlets on the inverter, that tells me the inverter breakers are OK, you would not be able to run the A/C on the inverter. Have you tried to run the A/C using the generator? that might help narrow down the problem.

First of all thank you all for your suggestions and help!!! It is great to have so much experience right here and quick!! I will do the reset on the inverter this morning. After reading the booklet (done more reading since I got into RVing-and I am not a reader??) what I am missing is the "pass through mode" on the inverter which allows the 110 volt to go through it to the outlets. I haven't got far enough to see how to set the inverter to allow this function but that is what I am missing for sure. The gererator will now not run now but a few seconds then dies. Had carb rebuilt less than 30 hours ago and run it every couple weeks? It sounds like maybe a fuel filter or some type of fuel problem. I turned off all the electrical breakers to see if maybe an overload was causing it to shut down but with all off it still wouldn't run. I have an appointment with shop Monday. What I am in need of now is how to set the inverter for the pass through mode. Anyone know how this is set? Thanks for info on frig also. You all are great!!

The RV fairy must have stopped by last night?? I had coach plugged into a 110 regular house outlet into my splitter. All of a sudden I got power through all the outlets. Started the generator and it ran fine??? Absoulty no clue what happened but everything now seems to be fine.
Life is good? at least for awhile
