I am trying to trace a wire problem with my fuel gage sending unit on a 2005 dynasty. With the ignition switch on I am getting no power to the yellow wire on the sending unit. I do have power from the yellow wire on the ignition switch. My wiring manual says the wire from the ignition runs to a terminal (TS1) , location front run plate. Anybody familiar where this might be? I am hoping for a loose contection. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Spider,

I am not at all familiar with the Dynasty, but I can tell you that the term "front run" usually refers to where the "front end of the run" for the mid chassis harness (the main harness running front and back) meets the distribution points for all the sub harness in the front of the coach. That area on most all Monaco's is located in the outside compartment under the driver's seat. I've never heard it called a "plate", however.

I hope someone who is familiar with the Dynasty chassis wiring chimes in here to help you.

Robin you were right. The front run plate is located outside under the drivers seat. I thought that was called a front electrical box. Anyway what I discovered was someone had incorrectly put the 1 amp fuse for fuel in wrong. One of the terminals was bent over and not making contact. Now I just need to recalibrate the centroid sending unit. Thanks for the help. Bill

Great! I am glad that turned out to be an easy fix for you.

Monaco refers to that front electrical bay as the "front run bay". Many coaches also have a "back run" board containing fuses, relays, and wiring terminals in one of the ouside rear compartments (usually close to the battery compartment). I don't know what it is that they are calling a "plate", though, unless it is the circuit board that houses all the fuses and relays, etc.

My dynasty has a rear electrical panel located in thr rear engine compartment. I was able to solve the no power problem with the sending unit but the calibration is still off. Centroid customer service thinks I have an algae problem so we will see how that plays out.
