The build sheet for our coach says it came with a factory installed safe... but it is so safe I can't find it Anyone know if this option was built into the coach or was just a bolt in unit which is what I suspect. If bolt in then I am sure the previous owner took it with them!

Nope... in fact I replaced the carpet in the bedroom and I didn't just put in the parts you see I removed the bed support and night stands. So, I know the only thing under the bed is the Cummins...

Thanks for the suggestion but both closets in the bedroom are built into the slides and I don't see enough room between the floor and the bottom of the slide....

The safe is not in a visible place as over the past 7 months I opened every door and panel that I could see and no safe. It is either behind a hidden panel or was removed by the previous owner. I guess I could contact them but... it was a bank repo so they probably don't want phone calls about the MH

Call Monaco and ask them where they put it, then you will know for sure if it has been removed.

I installed my own under the bed, but evrytime I open it, it is empty, I think all my cash keeps going into my fuel tank.

Our 03 Dynasty had a safe mounted to the floor in the street-side cornet of the rear closet. We removed it because it took a lot of space; replaced it with a fire-rated portable safe for out important papers. You are not missing much not having the safe. You can get the fire rated safe which fits what you need and store if wherever convenient in the coach.

Thanks for the info Rick P. I figured that it was a visible safe and the previous owner's had removed it but was hoping that it was hiddened behind a panel someplace. My plan is to install a small in-wall type safe behind one of the cabinet doors. While it could be removed by destroying the cabinet most thiefs wouldn't take the time to do that and with it behind a cabinet door at least it is not visible to the world!

I used to own an SOB (Some Other Brand) that had the safe under the driver-seat, right next to the pedestal. Didn't find it for almost a year!
