Do you mean the key won't turn in the lock?

Different key for the baggage doors perhaps?? My Winnebago has two keys for the main door ...one for deadbolt and one for regular lock. Only the regular lock key works in the baggage doors.

Is this a very recent purchase, or have you owned it for a while and this is a brandy new problem? If they are electric only, you might check for blown fuses or perhaps someone shut the main battery switch while you weren't looking.

Monacojimb - kindly respond to the questions? Or, did the problem just 'fix' itself?

Thanks for all the replys, but these doors are (Locked) with the power actuators and will not release. I finally called Monaco and was told to drill out the tumblers and then open and replace all the locks and handles.

Sounds like a horrible plan to me.
I would contact Trimark and they can probably talk you through a reset of the system..

You cannot double post, but maybe an admin can move this to the Monaco section. You might also want to do a search for Trimark in the Monaco section. Seems some others have had this or another problem and they got good responses from others.

I agree with Mandys. It's a real cop out. If ALL the locks are not working, it's NOT a single tumbler problem,it sounds much like a system defect. I bet the Monaco users can offer some real help, unlike the mfr. Don't go destroying anything unless it's a last resort.

I absolutely agree this is an indicator of a system problem and NOT a problem with any or all door locks. The first thing I would do is remove power from the lock system (whatever trips the acuators), and then see if the doors can be opened or unlocked/locked with the key. Withough power to the actuator forcing the acuator in one direction, that should be possible. I have heard of actuators getting stuck before on these systems, but it's been a few years and I cannot recall what the problem/fix was.

monacojimb...First of all I would like to welcome you to iRV2! This forum is about helping others with their problems - so I have decided to move this down to the Monaco Forum where I know we have some great "Technical Heads" here.

I hope one of them have had the problem before and can tell you an easier solution than drilling the locks out. It sounds like it is in the TriMark brain - so you will have accomplished nothing by drilling them out.

Again..welcome to iRV2...now let's see if someone else might be able to help you fix your problem!

TriMark #1-800-431-8616. I had to call them last week to get a replacement part for one of my doors. So I had the number handy.

...I sure hate to see a topic that cuts across many brand get isolated to one brand's forum ...seems like this will limit the possible number of responses to the OP's problem!

monacojimb...
Have you checked the connections to the "brain"? One of the Trouble-shooting" tips is to check the connections. You can find the "Installation & Consumer Manuals" in this PDF location.
I am still hoping that one of my "Technical Gurus" show up tonight or tomorrow...he can be expensive though..He works for cookies!

On Edit..You can find a bit more info here in this thread and also this thread. The members can tell you the size of the brain along with how to locate it, if you have not already done that. There will also be one other project you may want to do if the red light is not already being used...

I saw a 3 month old 2009 Camelot that the owner couldn't get in and had to have the locks drilled. I too had a hard time understanding it until I look in a couple of the bays. Apparently the lock actuator motors were powered until they melted, rendering the actuator rods frozen in the locked position. This happened to all the bays that had the power locks. Fortunately it was under warranty. I never did hear what failed. Either the relay stuck on or the TriMark sent a continuous signal to the lock relay. Why the fuse didn't blow is another riddle.
