Looking at 05 Navigator 45'

We are looking at a 45' 05 navigator and as we are new to HR/Monaco products am wondering what I should look for and expect. Also where can I look at the history and what do I need to access it. Thanks for what ever info you can provide.

2005 check age of tires, maint records oil filters etc. Maint records are usually paper kept by owner, should have transend in tranny. If you can get them to pay have cummins care run diags on engine tranny for any codes or find a friend with vmspc to do it for free. Does is have the 10 bag suspension and tag? I have 42' 03 and love the way it handles I only have isl 400 you should be larger.

Thanks, Dupdyke for the info. I have the Vmspc but am not shure if my connection is correct. It does have the RR10S chassis. I'm not shure how much of a paper trail it has with it. Do you or any one else know if Monaco/Holiday Rambler might have records and who or where I would contact them.

Thanks again Dupdyke, I'll try the number Mon. I also have the round connector but am not shure if the pin configuration is correct. If i recall correctly there is a 4 pin and a 6 pin. I believe that I have the 4 pin. Which do you have?

Here is the brochure:

http://holidayrambler.com/StaticFile...5navigator.pdf

The Navigator is a high quality coach. It's actually built on the S Series semi monocoque chassis instead of the RR10S. The S Series has welded steel side walls and roof structure which is very rigid and it drives and handles beautifully.

There really isn't anyplace you can be sure you get a history. You can ask for a ECM history dump to get a record of the engine's history. If there were any specific engine repairs Cummins could give you that. There were 2 Cummins engines offers as well as the Detroit Diesel Series 60 in '05. This coach is the HR equivalent of the Monaco Executive.
