Looking for a Signature Series w/ 600 hp cummins

Hi Everyone. Im new to this site and looking to buy my first coach. I'm really hoping to find a good used Signature Series with the 600hp Cummins engine. I'd really appreciate your input on the coach in gerneral and what you think of this engine. I wont be towing anything but just want a reliable engine in a well-made, safe coach. Thanks in advance for your advice.

With the 600hp cummins, it won't matter if you tow or not as you would never know it was back there. That's a nice setup. Here is a link to an earlier discussion on this engine. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f24/2006-...0-a-81673.html

Logansrun. You have a pm and yes still enjoying it as we speak. In the Carolinas and headed for Tallahassee in a few days. Have really enjoyed it the past two months especially since it has been trouble free.

I have a 03 isl 400 in 42' dynasty, my travel partner has isx 600 in 45' foretravel. I get about 8 and he is lucky to get 6 mpg. I think I will give up a little oomph on long hills for 1/3 better fuel economy and no emissions issues thanks. He has had a pump replaced, several computer reflashes, and is getting a lot of use out of the wty on his..

We traveled with a guy two years ago that had a 42' Dynasty and towed a 30' stacker trailer full of sand toys. It worked the Dynasty pretty good. We tow a 26' enclosed trailer behind our 40' Dynasty and it does great but anything larger I would want the ISM at minimum and the ISX would be awesome.

This guy sold his 42' Dynasty and purchased a 2008 Sig with the ISX 600 hp Cummins and tows the same trailer only loaded even more now. It tows great and he loves the coach. It is a beautiful rig.

Mike.

You will LOVE the ISX (and the Signature) I have a 2008 Sig (Cambridge floor plan) and just love the coach and power. We tow a Ford Explorer with it and it doesn't even know that it's there. You'll be able to set your cruise control on 69 mph and forget about it, you'll scoot up hills with out even breathing hard. You can expect somewhere between 6 to 8 mpg.

I did have the coach dyno at Cummins a couple of years ago and it actually dyno 700 HP The shop manager asked me if I wanted them to "turn it down." I told the manager **** no, leave it alone.

Feel free to PM me with any questions concerning the Sig.
