I fell in love with the interior of a Beaver Marquis, but it is a 2001, and was hoping for some input.
If anyone could give some feedback I would be very appreciative.

If you "love" it, and your estimate of repairs (new tires, new fluids & filters, new shocks, etc.) seems reasonable, then you should be happy.....and THAT is what this hobby/lifestyle is all about.

I have a 1997 Marquis. Just what would you like to know? If you are concerned about the age, remember Beaver coaches are top of line MHs. The build quality is superior to most of the MHs produced. Routine maintenance costs are the same for just about any brand. Equipment and system breakdowns are going to be fewer than many newer MHs of a lesser quality, assuming it was maintained properly. Generally, owners of MHs in this price range take good care of their equipment because of the greater investment.

Thanks guys for the input. I have been full time since '97 in my '82 Pace Arrow (guess I got my $9,000 worth..LOL).
I of course have replaced almost everything and know all about the "Trip".

I am now in a position to take advantage of this wonderful time in history with the glut of nice Motor coaches. I would like a diesel, and am not overly concerned with an older model, would gladly sacrifice age for a top of the line unit, but do have some concerns.
Hope it's ok I sent you private messages with the details.
I have been shopping for months and learned a lot. It is fun, but it's staring to get old, what with all the investigating and weighing of units.
Thanks again.
